Otaru Hokusho-an is stuck to 100% Buckwheat SOBA noodle,KOMETEN,Antique dishes.

100% Buckwheat SOBA noodle

Since traditional 100% soba noodle does not use flour,
it was undeniable that 100% soba noodle is hard to eat
because it is short and the texture is less elastic and dry.
We make 100% soba noodle with a special recipe at the shop here, it tastes fresh and easy to eat.

Please enjoy nice and smooth texture.

KOMETEN

General tempura uses wheat flour in order to fry
but we use rice flour and corn flour not containing gluten.
Find nice and crispy Tempura!
In addition, we use a special oil and method to cut down of oil calories about 40%.

Please enjoy healthy tempura that you can eat without worrying about calories.

Antique dishes

This building is a historic monument of Otaru City built in the Taisho Period about 100 years ago.
Because of that, our shop use special dishes of many antique items.
We use dishes from the Edo, Meiji era to the Taisho era which is more than 150 years ago,
so we can see “chips” and “joint” in vessels.
